Refund & Return Policy

At Finglas Fuels, we take pride in supplying high-quality kiln-dried logs to our customers. To ensure fairness and transparency, we kindly ask all customers to review the following Refund, Return & Exchange Policy.

1. Inspection on Delivery

  • All products, including kiln-dried log crates and bulk bags of logs, must be inspected at the time of delivery in the presence of the driver.
  • Customers are responsible for checking the condition of the goods (including dryness, packaging, and quality) before signing for the delivery.

2. Eligible Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

A return, refund, or exchange will only be accepted under the following conditions:

  • Wet Logs: If logs are found to be wet upon delivery inspection.
  • Damaged Crates or Bags: If crates or bulk bags are broken or significantly damaged and the customer does not wish to accept them.

In both cases, customers must inform the driver immediately.

3. Exchange Option

  • Where possible, Finglas Fuels will offer an exchange for a replacement product instead of a refund.
  • The exchange will be arranged at the earliest available delivery slot.
  • If a suitable replacement cannot be provided, a refund will be processed.

4. Procedure for Returns & Exchanges

  • If an issue is identified, the driver will record the condition of the goods and arrange for the dump-only return (logs left behind and not accepted).
  • The customer must decline the goods before they are fully delivered and signed for.
  • Once delivery is accepted and signed, Finglas Fuels cannot accept returns, refunds, or exchanges.

5. Exclusions

  • No refunds, returns, or exchanges are permitted after the delivery has been accepted.
  • Finglas Fuels is not responsible for issues reported after the driver has left the premises.
  • Natural variations in log size, shape, or minor cosmetic imperfections are not grounds for a return or exchange.

6. Refund Processing

  • Approved refunds will be processed within 7–10 business days back to the original payment method.
